Immerse yourself in the flavour of Granada

A half day excursion from Granada to the Alpujarras, visiting an olive oil mill, tasting olive oil and sampling the best wines of the region in one of the most representative wineries of the area.

Visit the heart of the Alpujarras, contemplate the Sierra Nevada and the sea at the same time, discovering the ancient tradition of the olive oil mills.

The route starts in Granada, from where we will depart in private transport and at all times accompanied by an expert guide in the region.

20 minutes from Granada, we will visit an olive oil mill in the beautiful municipality of Nigüelas, at the base of the Sierra Nevada Natural Park. Inside one of the oldest surviving Nasrid buildings, dedicated to the production of olive oil and where we will be taught the secrets of our olive oil culture, with a tasting of the different oils.

Afterwards, we will continue our visit with a wine cellar in the village of Torvizcon, a picturesque village with a Mudejar church and an incredible ethnographic landscape. The winery we will visit, with the Mediterranean on the horizon and the sun of the Sierra Nevada over the vineyard, will offer us a tasting of its main wines, where we can only dream of sharing its treasure made wine… and where we will participate in the rite and mystery of its ageing.

Later, in time for lunch, we will return to Granada and the guide will see us off at the same pick-up point.
